Multiple choice question

I visited a fellow treasure hunter's blog to read her write-up on the recent Sun Hunt. I posted comments therein and thought it might be fun to throw in a cryptic question. Then I also invited another hunter friend in the RR Blog to give it a try.

Shortly ago, I received an email from a Sabahan friend who happened to have stumbled upon one of those blogs and saw my question there. He said I should also give a chance to my Sabahan friends to try out the question so that they can hone their cryptic skills, or learn from it.

And so I thought there is no harm to publish the question here. I must apologize to my Sabahan friends; I have no intention to deprive you from learning new tricks. I conjured up the question at the spur of the moment to tease a friend. Well, here it is, see what you make of it:

(Q) Malaysian figure having a convulsion?

Possible answers:

(A) Abdullah Ahmad Badawi

(B) Tun Dr Mahathir Mohd

(C) Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor

(D) Lim Goh Tong

(E) Ahmad Fairuz

Send the answer & explanation to me at ckoh1965@yahoo.com

I suppose the grandmasters can solve this question fairly quickly. But when I let my own team members try it, I am sad to say that they failed miserably. Goes to show what a weak team we are!

I will not publish the answer and explanation — at least not for a long time. So serious hunters must give it a try, instead of simply wait for the answer. Send me your attempt. I will then reveal the solution through email. Fair enough?

Well, well, well... what d'you know, folks, my friend ckloh of the RR blog has managed to answer this question first.

I don't know if the grandmasters are even gonna try it, but so far nothing from any of them!

And my dear claire? Are you gonna submit your answer anytime soon?

And what about my Sabahan friends? Some of you must show your stuff to the KLites!

Ahem! I have received a correct answer from Julie shortly ago. She failed in her first attempt with a mediocre explanation... hehehe. But that was probably because she wanted to cheer uncle Cornelius up.

Then later she submitted another try and this time it's perfect! I can see the RR folks are fast getting to be a force to be reckoned with. Who knows, maybe in the next episode of the Sun Hunt, they're gonna be taking home the biggest prize?

And yet another Riddler — claire — has submitted the correct answer! Looks like they can read me like a dictionary, huh? Hmmm perhaps I should unleash some of my killer riddles, huh?... hehehe.... nah.. not the time to do that yet.

Congratulations, RR folks!

I was out the whole of yesterday. When I came home late at night, there were already a few tries in my email. Unfortunately, none of them were correct. Who knows, perhaps today I will receive some correct answers — but they must come with explanation. Guessing is no good!

I am proud to announce that Johan Amilin, a Sabahan hunter, has submitted a correct answer just shortly ago.

Johan is yet another example of a new hunter with excellent rate of improvement. He has had 7 hunts under his belt. Yet his team got third in my recent KK Challenge 2, beating some regular hunters!

Congratulations to Johan.

After that successful submission by Johan, finally I received the long-awaited (correct) answer from my loyal customer—renroc.

I will say here that I had no doubt whatsoever that it's just a matter of time for him.

Oh by the way, I have also received several other attempts from others, but unfortunately they're merely blind guesses.

So let me repeat here that I am expecting the answer with the correct explanation to be considered as the COMPLETE correct answer. This is obviously not the case in an actual hunt, where one can just tembak and may end up with the full points for that question.
